The POLYMEX BW 4040 is a 4" × 40" brackish water reverse osmosis (BWRO) membrane designed for efficient removal of dissolved salts and contaminants from brackish feed water. Its compact 4040 configuration makes it suitable for commercial and industrial RO systems where reliable water purification and consistent permeate production are required. The membrane provides a permeate flow of 2,500 GPD (9.4 m³/day), with an active membrane area of 90 ft² (8.36 m²). It offers a stable salt rejection of 99.50% and a minimum salt rejection of 99.30%. The 32 mil feed spacer supports effective feed-water flow through the membrane element. POLYMEX BW 4040 is suitable for commercial RO plants, industrial water treatment, groundwater purification, high-TDS water treatment, process-water production, and water reuse applications. Proper feed-water pretreatment is recommended to maintain membrane performance and service life.
