GENESYS LS provides broad-spectrum control of common RO scaling contaminants, including calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate, calcium phosphate, silica, and metal hydroxide/oxide fouling. By keeping these contaminants dispersed or below their precipitation tendency, it helps protect the membrane and maintain stable system operation. The product is supplied as a liquid concentrate and is normally introduced into the RO feed water using a metering/dosing pump. The required dosage depends on feed-water chemistry, recovery, temperature, pH, membrane type, and system operating conditions. For GENESYS LS, the manufacturer's typical continuous dosage is less than 1–2 mg/L (ppm), subject to calculation for the specific system.
